Leah is a rescue from Texas who came to us at age four or so. She is a total dear who loves all people, dogs, cats, and chipmunks. What she loves most, though, is to run — fast. She does not need a destination; running fast is an end in itself for Leah. When she runs through the house with a toy, it is best to step aside. Her legs are springs; she leaps high for the frisbee.

She is 40% collie, and also border collie, golden retriever, Australian cattle dog, pit bull, chow-chow, and whatever. She is thus her own unique self.

When she isn’t free to run, she is patient, obedient, and tries to please her family. We are so lucky to have her.
